I am a big fan of weather-related stuff. Therefore, I decided to check out this submission (after receiving an e-mail from Newgrounds about it).
Graphics/Animation: 7/10. The animation was pretty smooth, and also well-drawn. The only qualm that I have about it is that in the first few scenes, it seemed like you used repeated frames of animation going back between the two people. In addition, the two people weren't facing each other, and their lower bodies weren't moving very much. Overall, it was pretty good, but there was room for improvement.
Plot/Story: 6/10. The plotline was pretty well-done, at least for the first part. As someone who sometimes doesn't like the weather outside, this really caught my attention. However, the second part (inside the house) was unneeded, in my opinion. It had nothing to do with the subject of the flash, and the large penis was unnecessary. You should have kept the flash short and sweet, and ended it with the meteor falling (which technically isn't a weather event, but I won't take away anything for that).
Humor: 6/10. The first part outside was very humorous, and I loved the idea of shooting at the sky to get rid of the weather. However, more could have been done with it, especially with the bullets (that would have been the only purpose for the second scene - seeing the bullets all fall through the roof of his house). The second scene wasn't very humorous, and the large penis was not funny.
Overall: 6/10. (8/10 for part 1, 4/10 for part 2) I felt that this was a funny submission. There is definitely room for improvement here (sometimes shorter is sweeter), but in the end, it did put a smile on my face.
Author's Response:
There's always room for improvement man... thus is the life of an animator. ^^
The last scene was just a weird random bit I decided to add on. I thought it okay... giant penis' are awesome. :3

I actually saw this video on the Weird Al album, and it looks even better than before! I'm glad that I have the chance to actually review this! Here it goes:
Graphics: 8/10. The graphics were excellent. Even though they weren't breathtaking or revolutionary, the backgrounds were very well-drawn (and interesting), and there was a lot of variety in the animation. There could have been a little more motion in the backgrounds, though. In addition, the scrolling "matrix" text in the background was also pretty cool.
Style: 10/10. The style was awesome! The animation on the screen synced up with what was being said in the song very well, and the comic style of the flash perfectly fit the the style of the song. Absolutely no complaints here.
Sound: 10/10. Weird Al rocks! In addition, the music quality was good, as there was no scratches or skips in the sound.
Violence: N/A. There wasn't that much violence, so I didn't rate this category. I put it as a 0/10 when I rated it, but it didn't factor into the overall rating.
Interactivity: N/A. This was a movie, not a game. Therefore, I couldn't rate this category, and did the same thing I did with violence.
Humor: 10/10 (maybe 11/10?) This (along with the style - they went hand in hand) was the high point of the flash. Taking the lyrics of the song literally was the best (and most humorous route), and the flash was very funny as a result. The song was also very funny, which was another reason this flash was humorous. Absolutely no complaints here.
Overall: 9.5/10 (rounded up to 10/10). The graphics could have used some improvement (especially with a few of the static backgrounds), but the style, music, and humor in this flash were great enough to overpower any minor graphical complaints. Therefore, I give this flash a 10/10.

"This was a boring (but thankfully short) flash."
Honestly, I kind of expected this flash to be bad, given the file size. However, this was even worse than I expected. Here's why:
Graphics: 0/10. Okay, what have here? Two still images next to each other, and a pointer that was obviously looped back and forth between two places. This is extremely basic, and you can improve here by adding more motion to the main characters, adding a common background for both of the characters, and making the characters look more realistic (without being pictures).
Style: 0/10. There was absolutely no plot or storyline, and there was nothing on the screen to keep me interested. In addition, the flash was way too short to have anything significant happen. I can't think of any situation where a 5-second long flash (especially one that is not looped) can have any development.
However, you can keep one element of your style and make this flash great: the single line. If you create a interesting environment, add dramatic music and non-verbal actions, and have it build up to one, crucial line, you could end up with a great flash. Heck, there are lots of flashes with no dialogue at all, but have lots of non-verbal communication, and end up being very well made.
My point here is that the style has a lot of room for improvement, and you could make a great flash by considering some of the suggestions here.
Sound: 5/10. There was one line in Speakonia. It sounded decent, but the flash was too short to have good dialogue.
Violence: N/A
Interactivity: N/A
Humor: N/A
Overall: 0/10. This flash was definitely bad. There was plenty to improve upon here, most notably in the graphics and style. (Check above for more details.) Flash doesn't have to be something that you put only 10 minutes into; if you put a lot more time into it, you can end up with a truly great piece of art.

So, I was going through my Newgrounds e-mail looking for stuff by my favorite authors, and this was the earliest thing that I saved. Not having seen a CC movie in a while, I decided to watch this. I was pretty impressed, and so here is my review:
Graphics: 9/10. I was pretty impressed with these graphics. The animation was excellent, and there were only one or two weak spots, which I'm pretty sure were with the violence occasionally not being animated well.
Style: 9/10. Loved it! The animation as a whole flowed very smoothly. While there wasn't much of a plot or story (which was the only weak point), the animation still held well together.
Sound: 10/10. I definitely enjoyed this the most. Power metal was an awesome choice for the main movie, and I loved the use of "Beethoven Virus" during the ending credits. Finally, I noticed the use of the Stepmania sound effects on the second menu screen. :)
Violence: 8/10. As I pointed out before, there were a few weak points here (most notably, it seemed, with places where the sword cuts were). Otherwise, the violence was done pretty well.
Interactivity: N/A. The menu screens were pretty nice. However, you could have added buttons in the author description screen, instead of relying on our intuition to hit the left and right arrow keys. Still, this is not really a game, so I'm not giving you any rating here.
Humor: 8/10. There were a few humorous battle scenes, and the use of B was pretty funny. Nothing hilarious, but still some funny moments.
Overall: 9/10. This was an excellent CC flash. It flowed well, the sound was excellent, and it had some funny moments. Just add more of a storyline and slightly better graphics, and you will have one incredible flash the next time around!
Author's Response:
I really apreciate mature people like you.
I agree with all you have review and I'm glad to read you liked it :)
Sorry to say that this next Clockday I'm gonna work alone, and maybe every year.
Nobody know all the problems I got with all the members (the ones who tried to enter, the ones that leaves the collab when they where one of the first that joined, the ones that shut up when I'm PM them... and never got the part, other things like do not read the rules and send me it (also shits), rejecting parts... blah blah...).
Really, I was really stressed (it affected me for the rest of my life). The lastest days I was two nights sleaping only 4 hours.
Whatever... this reply is getting stupid and long.
Thanks for the constructive review.

I was definitely expecting a flash on Japanese culture, not a Mario flash. However, this flash was quite good. Here's why:
Graphics: 7/10. This was definitely the weakest part of the flash. However, even though the graphics were mostly sprites, they were done pretty well. The addition of the picture of Japan was integrated nicely, too.
Style: 8/10. The overall look was great. The sprites definitely gave the flash a video-game like (a.k.a. classic Mario) feel, which went perfectly with the music.
Sound: 10/10. This is the big star of the flash. The music was excellent, and the integration of the sound and graphics was perfect! In addition, the sound effects were nice. Absolutely no complaints here.
Humor: 8/10. While not side-splittingly funny, there were still many funny parts in the flash, most of which corresponding with the music.
Overall: 8/10. Even though it wasn't groundbreaking or revolutionary, this was a fun, light-hearted flash that I enjoyed.

I want more reviews like this. See this guy? He knows how to treat reviews. Unlike 3/4... no make it 7/8 of the reviews on here are just "tish is tehz r0x0rs! keept it up!" or "this sucks, take it off"
Lets me know what people actually liked about it.

Seriously, this was a bad flash. The preloader was decent, but everything else was bad. Here is my review of it:
Graphics: 0/10. All I saw was two continuous looping frames. Not only that, but the frames weren't right next to each other, so the looping looked rather bad. In addition, the graphics were pretty bad, and it looks like they were made in Paint, not Flash. Some things you could improve on (if you are doing a looping flash) is making sure that the graphics are smooth and loop smoothly, and making the music a loop, too. In the end, the graphics are just plain bad.
Style: 0/10. There is no storyline, no plot, and no characters here. In addition, there is absolutely nothing happening in the flash to keep me interested. Some things you can do to improve this (even if it's just a music video) are adding some characters and having the animation convey the mood of the music. I picture a night driving scene to go with this music. Despite how repetitive that might be, it would still be better than the current flash. Yet again, the style, like the graphics, was bad.
Sound: 8/10. Being an electronic music fan, I really liked your choice of music. The sound was pretty clear, which is always good. The only thing bad about the music was that it wasn't used in the flash very well. Other than that, it was great.
Violence: N/A. There was no violence in this flash, so I couldn't rate it.
Interactivity: N/A. There was no interactivity in this flash (it wasn't a game), so I couldn't rate it. The play button looked decent, though.
Humor: N/A. There was no humor here, so I couldn't rate that, either.
Overall: 0/10. There was some great music in this flash. Unfortunately, that was overshadowed by the very poor animation and style. In the end, it came out to be a very bad flash animation.

Yes, I didn't get a Wii this holiday season. However, I did enjoy this flash. Here are my thoughts on it:
Graphics: 8/10. The characters were well-drawn, and the animation was great, too. The backgrounds were good, but there was definitely some room for improvement. For example, the christmas lights could have been flashing, instead of just being off. While not quite jaw-dropping (yes, I have a strict scale for graphics), the graphics were still great.
Style: 8/10. The style was excellent, too. I have only one complaint here: the "In Memory Of James Brown" frame at the end was too sudden. If you had placed that with the rest of the stuff in the "Thanks" frame, that would have been a better transistion.
Sound: 10/10. The sound effects and the voices were very well-done. I have no complaints here.
Violence: 9/10. There wasn't much violence here, but the one violent scene was very well-done.
Interactivity: N/A (rated as 0, but not figured into the overall score) It was a movie, so it doesn't apply. The play button looked nice, though. ;)
Humor: 10/10. Along with the voices, this was the real strength of this flash. I've seen your previous flashes, and you have had a great sense of humor, then. You still do, now. The comic timing was excellent, and there was a lot to laugh at here.
Overall: 9/10. Even though there were some minor things that you could have improved on with the graphics and style, the awesome voicing and humor made this flash excellent.

Well, this wasn't really much of a flash - it was more like flashing text with music. Still, here is my review.
Graphics: 0/10. The only graphics I see in the main flash is flashing text. Honestly, having your whole flash as just flashing text is not a good idea, and makes it look like a spam flash. Some improvements you could make include changing the text, adding some animation besides looping from a blank screen to plain text, and animating characters (people, animals, plants, machines, etc.). The graphics here were horrible, and I see no redeeming value in this area.
Style: 0/10. This flash had absolutely no plot or storyline to it. In addition, I got bored very quickly, mainly because there was no action on the screen. Adding a plot or storyline, along with some characters, would definitely improve the flash. Right now, the style, like the graphics, were horrible, and I currently see no redeeming value in the style.
Sound: 9/10. The music was actually quite catchy. It was quite varied, and I wouldn't mind listening to it for a while. In addition, the sound quality was quite clear. The only complaint here is that the music does get a bit repetive eventually. Overall, this area was excellent, and I had no major complaints.
Violence: N/A. There was no violence in the flash, so I couldn't rate this area.
Interactivity: N/A. Yet again, there was no interactivity in the flash (besides the play button and the quality settings), so I couldn't rate it.
Humor: N/A. There was no humor in the flash, so I couldn't rate it.
Overall: 0/10. The music in this flash would be a great audio portal submission. However, as a flash, this was poorly done. It had horrible graphics, and no plot or storyline. If you add any of these elements, the quality of the flash would improve exponentially. For now, this flash is just plain awful.

Well...as you can tell from my previous views, I LOVE these types of games! Here are some of the reasons why I love this game:
Graphics: 9/10. It was a video camera, but the picture quality was excellent. Still, I have to take off a point here because this wasn't an actual animation. (Don't take it as insulting.)
Style: 10/10. The style here was excellent. The introduction was great (and humorous), and I have no complaints about the style of the fight.
Sound: 10/10. The music fit perfectly with the flash, and it was very clear. Absolutely no complaints.
Violence: 10/10. There was no blood, but did this flash really need any? My conclusion was no. The lack of blood fit very well with the comic style of the flash, and the animations of the violence were done very well.
Interactivity: 8/10. The interactivity was great. However, there was one thing that I didn't like about the controls. When I was first pressing down on the key to punch [the virtual] you, I didn't release it instantly. Because of that, the flash registered two punches, the second one causing me a loss of health. The only way I could avoid that was lifting off of the key as soon as I pressed it. If you made it so that I would only punch you once when pressing (and holding down) a key, that would have made the fight a bit less aggravating.
Other than that, the interactivity was excellent! It was nice to have 3 different levels, and the various motions from punching [the virtual] you were pretty realistic.
Humor: 8/10. First of all, it was very humorous interacting with the video. In addition, the introduction was a bit humorous. Finally, the bonus scene, while a little bit clichéd, was done in a funny way.
Overall: 9/10. The only major flaw in here was with holding down the arrow keys, as I mentioned before. Other than that, this flash was awesome! Keep on making flash (and interactive videos); you are obviously very talented!
Author's Response:
It doesn't help if you have a sticky keyboard. There was a bit of coding I put in so you couldn't punch again until he made his next move.

"A mediocre end to an infamous series."
Personally, I don't understand what all the hype is about this series. Yeah, there have been 80 episodes (which all passed, mainly because people wanted the free protection points after seeing the first few passed). However, there have been series that have had just about as many, if not more episodes, especially Daily Toons. So, I wasn't too surprised that every one of these episodes passed judgement.
Anyways, here is my review of the actual flash.
Graphics: 3/10. The introduction had decent graphics, as usual. The scene with Hitler coming toward the finish line could have had better graphics. First of all, the backgrounds looked horrible. Adding more details to the side of the road (trees, bushes, buildings, etc.) instead of having a large area of green would have made the side of the road look better, and adding some moving clouds would have made the sky look better. In addition, the motion of Hitler going to the German border could have been improved by having just Hitler's head be un-animated (and drawing the other parts of Hitler's body). That way, there could be more motion, and it could be more realistic. Finally, the drawing of there should have been some lip-sync and other motion (e.g. arm movements) in the drawing of the 3 Newgrounds members. Overall, the graphics here were mediocre.
Style: 2/10. The introduction had a pretty good style. After that, the style pretty much bottomed out. Yeah, there was a bit of a storyline (traveling around the world in 80 days), but there was nothing to add to the story. You could improve the style by having more elements added (e.g. cheering crowds after Hitler's arrival, a meeting with one or more German leaders). As for the style overall, it was mediocre.
Sound: 10/10. The sound was very clear, and the music fit pretty well with the flash. No complaints here.
Violence: N/A. There was no violence here, so I didn't rate it. (the 0 in the pulldown menu did not affect the overall score of the flash).
Interactivity: N/A. It wasn't a game, and there was no extra features. Therefore, I didn't rate it.
Humor: 1/10. Well, the flash itself wasn't funny, and it didn't really need to be. However, I am giving you a bonus point for humor because I do find it somewhat humorous that all 80 of these episodes managed to pass judgement (and this one managed to get review crew pick).
Overall: 3/10. Overall, the flash was mediocre. As I mentioned before, the graphics and style could have been vastly improved, especially since it was the final episode. Considering that this was the final episode of a long series, it wasn't very memorable. This series is getting it's "15 seconds of fame" right now, but it will probably be forgotten until a longer series other than Daily Toons gets made, and this is mentioned in comparison.
Author's Response:
I know the backgrounds could have been better. The thing was I didn't have enough time and I felt that the background was the least important thing in the Flash.
I animated Hitler like you said, but in the end I decided to stick with the jerky one since it gave it a sort if silly effect.
I was going to have some lip sync, but unfortunately that would mean I required a female voice actor for Hot-and-Charming. At the time I made this, there were no females online, which meant Hot-and-Charming couldn't say the line. Also if Phantom were to say the line I would have required SlashFirestorm, since he's played the voice of Phantom in a previous Flash of mine. Unfortunately SlashFirestorm wasn't available either, which meant that Dream-of-Duke would have to deliver the line. Since that character was wearing a mask in this Flash, there could have been no lip sync. As for arm movement, yeah, I could have done it but I wanted them to appear to be frozen in shock.
I also added cheering like you suggested, but it somehow didn't seem right.
Thanks for taking your time to write such a long review.
